Review of Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
The day i picked up this book was in moments of desperation for a good read but however after buying i put it aside and only a few days ago i started to read it seriously and i fully enjoyed the book very much! Taking into account I am a buddhist vegetarian, this book has opened my eyes to the cultivation by Hindu people in india. Besides the way they pray in doing mostly mediation, the author also relates much about relationship she meets along her journey. She met several males and its truly enjoying and interesting to see the other private side of her. She has a broken relationship and is finding ways to heal in her journey. Some helpful hints on traditional medication and favorite food were described too. I like the way she presents herself, truly honest and capable of writing to the full one page, pages after pages, for readers to easily pause and continue. A many little small senses of achievements by readers. Its a journey book. She travels alone and reveals how she spent her time in her lonely travel. Part of it is flirting about and had her conversation with the medicine man and wife of his. She even did a great job by collecting funds for a medicine woman to build a house. One can also learnt some italian words and find its meaning immediately next to the italian words written in the story. Thats why its a well written book. Love its interesting capturing facts for readers. Thank You. |
